Jamie Konopacky is the contact for the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation Great Lakes initiatives, including the Foundation’s agricultural runoff, green stormwater infrastructure, and stewardship programs. Before joining Erb Family Foundation, Jamie served as an attorney and the Midwest Director for Environmental Working Group, a leading national environmental and human health organization. Jamie has spent more than 10 years developing local, state, and federal watershed policies, working with tribes, litigating water issues, and addressing nitrate drinking water contamination, algal blooms, factory farm, and tribal and environmental justice issues. She has served at a variety of organizations and institutions including the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, Clean Wisconsin, Harvard Environmental Policy Initiative, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, U.S. Baha’i Office of Public Affairs, Godfrey & Kahn SC, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Jamie graduated with honors and received her law degree summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin.
