Melissa Damaschke Named Vice President of Programs

Melissa Damaschke Named Vice President of Programs

Melissa Damaschke has been named the vice president of Programs for the Erb Family Foundation. She will also have the additional title of senior program officer, Great Lakes. Former VP of Programs, Jodee Raines, is taking on a new career adventure at a Detroit-based organization which will be announced soon. Melissa has been a program officer with the Erb Family Foundation for over five years. Before that, she worked for Sierra Club as its Great Lakes program director and was a grantee of the Foundation.

The vice president of Programs is responsible for the grantmaking process for the Foundation, reporting to the President, Neil Hawkins. She will also serve as an officer and board secretary in this role. She has the experience, passion, and drive to take on this critical role for the Foundation. The Foundation is moving quickly to fill her role as program officer for the Great Lakes, and we encourage interested candidates to read the job description.

Outside of work and during a pandemic, Melissa enjoys playing with her two young children, listening to records with her husband, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. A fun fact about Melissa is that she has swum in all five of the Great Lakes. She’s originally from Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Northland College.

Please congratulate Melissa as the new vice president of Programs for the Erb Family Foundation.
